Who are Windham County Homeschoolers?

We are a non-denominational group with many different families and styles of homeschooling. Here's some of what we are up to this fall:

  • In Putney on Mondays at the beautiful Friends Meeting House we have classes in the morning and free play 12 noon - 2 pm.
  • In and around Putney-Brattleboro planned homeschooler activities include: Karate, Soccer, Dance, Mount Snow Ski Program in January (sign up in November)
  • Other classes and activities that homeschoolers may participate in: Oyase Wilderness Program - Vermont Wilderness School, New England Youth Theater, Bonnie Stearns Pottery, Fencing at Landmark College, Grafton Winter Sports Programs, Kids Craft Fair- 1st Saturday in December - These are some of the ongoing local events.
